Party All The Time...

Ok, so how many Christmas parties can one person attend in a 7 day period. I seem to have lost count this week. Last night I attended 2 parties. The first was the annual cookie exchange party at Sheri's. I look forward to this get together all year because I love, love LOVE the people that are there. And this is the 5th year, I think...so there are lots of funny stories to share and re-tell when we all get together. The other party I went to last night was at Ron & Mendy's. It was an all-night movie marathon! They started around 6:00pm and watched just about every Christmas movie ever made until everyone finally fell asleep around 5:00am this morning. I arrived late (since I was at the other party), so I missed White Christmas, Frosty and The Grinch. But, I did get to watch Elf, Nester the Long Eared Donkey, and part of The Santa Clause. Somewhere around 1:30 I went to lay down and didn't wake up until the sun was up.

Oh, can I also just say that I watched Rudolph about 16 times this week while staying with Carson and Caroline. Carson has learned to say Ho Ho Ho whenever he sees Santa on the screen. All he had to do was say Ho Ho Ho in that sweet little voice and point to the tv and we would watch it again! I'm pretty sure I would give that kid my eyeballs if he asked for them.

Anyway, that's all for now. I have SO much Christmas shopping to do this week that it makes me want to cry. Until now I have had insufficient time and funds to get much accomplished, so the next 3 days are key. It should be an adventure!
