It's Official...

Yep. I really did it. I'm officially a new homeowner. I signed the papers this morning. I have to admit, I was pretty nervous about it all, but everything went smoothly and it only took about 40 minutes. When I bought my car 2 years ago, it took nearly 3 hours. Isn't that kind of backwards?

Anyway, the best part of the entire experience was that my friend Becky went with me and was my moral support. I'm so thankful that she did, because if she hadn't been there no one would believe me when I tell them that I bought my condo from Shrek. That's correct...I said Shrek. The man looked exactly like the green ogre from the movie. Especially the ENORMOUS teeth and ridiculously thick stubby fingers. All he needed was a little bit of green makeup and he would be a dead ringer. I'm quite sure he took a mud bath this morning and ate slugs for breakfast. WHAT A CRACK UP!!

So, now comes the fun part. Tonight, I'm off to buy paint and other supplies to start sprucing up the place. I'm moving in just 3 short days, so there is much to do!
