Bucket List...
I went to see Phantom of the Opera this week. I think it is the 5th time I've seen it. I have to say, I just never get tired of seeing live theater. There is something so amazing about sitting there in the audience, listening to the orchestra playing, watching the set pieces being set and reset, and seeing those amazingly talented actors magically transform into a cast of characters before my very eyes.
Someday I will make it to New York to see something on Broadway. It's on my bucket list. Here's a few other things on my bucket list:
- See the ruby slippers at the Smithsonian in Washington, DC
- Take the ferry to Ellis Island and see the Statue of Liberty
- Take a tour of Hoover Dam
- Walk the dusty streets in the Holy Land
- See a Cards vs Cubs game in Wrigley Field
- Sit in Millionaires Row at the Derby
- Go to the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown
- Take an Alaskan Cruise

Seeing a show on Broadway is at the top of my bucket list too!!! Lets go!!!! My mom and I were just talking about this. Others on my list include: Visiting Ireland and Get published (which might actually happen)
So let's start checking these things off. For example...
I'm going to be in NYC this time next week. I think you should meet me. (Except that I won't have much time. Couldn't do the show, but we'd have time for a ferry ride.) :)
What do you say?
I did mine, Karla! You can check it out.
Oh, it's on my blog. I guess I should've said that.
Pretty sure if you need someone to do all of this with...all you need to do is ask "gir"! Ruby slippers a must. Cards/Cubs...hello!Watching you cry at the Statue of Liberty...priceless. Awesome bucket list. Take me with you!
Phantom was incredible. Sorry if I embarassed you by singing and acting out the scenes with the actors. :) I was just a little too excited!
