One Great Week...

Once in a great while, you just have one of those weeks that you wish you could freeze in time and re-live again and again. I had one of those last week. For a solid seven days I wore a ridiculous grin on my face...you know, the kind that makes everyone wonder what you've been up to. It was one great week.

It started on Sunday when my wonderful "friend-boy" Corey came to Louisville for a visit. He had never been here before, so it was a thrill for me to show him around the place that has been home to me for the past 10 years. There wasn't much on the agenda while he was here, so we mostly just talked and laughed and played games and spent time together. We had a great 3 days.

Then on Friday, I headed to St. Louis for a Greenville Girls weekend! We try our best to get together once a year, so this was our weekend. Except for the fact that Traci was absent, it was a wonderful weekend. Again, nothing on the agenda except laughing, talking and eating. I love being with those girls because they KNOW me. Sometimes better than I know myself.

On the way home from St. Louis, I stopped and spent the day and night with my Dad and sister. It was good to see them and just catch up on life with them...especially Dad. I miss him.

So, for a girl whose love language is Quality Time, this was pretty much a perfect week for me. Spending time with people I love is my absolute favorite thing to do...and cramming it all into one week is just fine with me. :)
