Just For Kicks In 2006...

Ok, so I'm STILL here in good ol' C-town...spending lots of quality time with the fam. We had a good Christmas...Santa was WAY too good to me this year. I'm pretty sure I wasn't THAT good this year. And, I've eaten so much in the past 10 days that all of my jeans are about to bust at the seams...literally. I'm avoiding any cookie monster underwear until I can get things back under control!

Here are a few things I love about long vacations with nothing to do:

• Several consecutive days of going to bed before 11:00pm and staying in my pajamas until well after 11:00am.
• Little House on the Prairie...4 episodes a day on Hallmark channel.
• Playing hours of Catch Phrase with my sister...Stop, Drop & Roll!
• Getting my gray hair re-colored to a lovely blondish tone!!
• Dairy Queen with Laurie!
• Learning to talk and act just like Paula Deen...my mom is totally addicted to the food network.
• Getting all caught up on my knitting. (That makes me sound like such a grandma, but at least I don't have the gray hair to prove it anymore!)
• Getting to show Sara the "highlights" of C-town. Yes, Walgreens is on the tour.
• Spending a few precious hours with Smandy at the Cracker Barrell! By the way, I also thought of "turning tricks in 2006"...but that sounds a bit like I'm a prostitute...not quite what I'm looking for in the coming year.

Anyway, I'll be headed back to KY tomorrow. Hope you all have a wonderfully blessed New Year. Call me sometime!!
