Minivan Moms...

This is a shout out to all my friends who are minivan moms. I've only been playing the part for 2 days and I have a whole new respect for all you do. Just getting 3 kids ready for school is an eye opening experience.

Here's my normal morning routine:
Alarm goes off at 7:40...hit snooze several times
Get up around 8:00am
Wander around lazily for a while
Get a shower
Fix my hair & makeup
Try on various outfits
Saunter in to work by 9:15-9:30ish

This morning's adventure:
Dog wakes me at 5:45 to go outside
Alarm goes off at 6:00am...immediately get moving
Shower, hair and makeup in 30 minutes flat
Quickly dress in the clothes I laid out the night before
Pack 3 lunches
Make Bed
Wake 3 children
Change diaper, select outfit, dress and brush hair of toddler
Fix breakfast for 3 children
Pack diaper bag
Assist in hair fixing and dressing of older children
Button coats, zip jackets
Meet Bus #1 at 8:15am
Meet Bus #2 at 8:20am
Let dog out again and fix his bed for the day
Pack up toddler, diaper bag, and lunch bag in minivan
Drive 20 minutes across town in rush hour to daycare
Drop toddler at daycare
Drive 20 minutes back across town to work
Enter workplace at 9:15am.

To all of you out there who do this everyday...you have my upmost respect and admiration...Minivan Moms Rule!!
