Top 20 Countdown...

To those of you who have been wondering...yes, I still exist. I just returned from my 3 week camp adventure and have been in some sort of daze since my return. I spent the first 2 days doing laundry, sleeping, and basically being a lazy bum. The rest of the time I have been trying to catch up on people's lives, visiting friends, etc.

Here are my top 20 memories from Campelot 2006:

20- children nearly crushed to death in the shoe scramble game
19- kids who were baptized this summer at camp
18- thousand pieces of camper mail that we sorted
17- gallons of purple koolaid consumed in an effort to produce something else colorful
16- bars of irish spring dumped in the hall trash can
15- CapriSuns in our fridge
14- hours of sleep during week one :(
13- rounds of the shark song on pick up day at the Old Lodge
12- different voice inflections for Sir Stinkalot in one worship hour
11- more months until we do it all again!
10- different ways to serve left-over taco meat
9- hours spent making duct tape wallets
8- homesick kids sent home
7- baptisms in just one week!
6- days at or above 95 degrees
5- kids that I actually witnessed puking
4- Tootsie Pops in my mouth at one time
3- men madly in love with Laurie :)
2- direct hits to my person during the water balloon launch
1- fit of uncontrolled crying girlie laughing from Steve on my birthday!

It's been a good summer. Who could ask for more?
