Isn't Life Funny...

Have you ever noticed how sometimes every little thing can be a HUGE ordeal...and then sometimes things will just roll off your back like water on a duck? (That's for you, Sara.) I have decided that this week I had a glimpse into the world of someone with a bi-polar disorder. I spent half the day on Tuesday crying (for no apparent reason) and then today, I'm as content as a lark. What is wrong with me? On Tuesday if someone had told me I had a hair out of place, I probably would have retreated to the fetal position for a week. But today...I got some news that should have made me upset...but ironically didn't really bother me all that much. Sigh...I'm such a girl.

Maybe part of the reason for my restored state of mind is that I took a "mental health" sick day yesterday. I spent the greater part of the day in my pajamas doing absolutely nothing. I watched Little House, I went to the grocery store, I took an afternoon nap. GLORY!! What a great day it was. Today, I'm a new person.

I guess life is just funny like that sometimes.
