Ain't Life Funny...

Sometimes I just have to stop the whirlwind called life and think for a moment. Here are some thoughts I had recently:

1) I miss my bed. It seems that recently I have been doing a lot of sleeping in homes other than my own...babysitting, dogsitting, traveling. I love my old lumpy bed and look forward to sleeping in it sometime in the near future.

2) I need a haircut...desperately. I don't like it when my hair is long, so why do I continue to let it grow?

3) I really do love baseball. I can't seem to grasp why some of my dearest friends can't see the beauty in my favorite sport and my favorite team...The St. Louis Cardinals. It's a part of me...embrace it.

4) I need a boyfriend. I got a wedding invitation in the mail this week that got me thinking. Usually the inside envelope is addressed to "Karla and guest"...but I didn't get the "and guest" courtesy this time. Am I so desolate that I don't even get the option of an "and guest"???

These are a few of the random thoughts that fill my mind when I stop to think. Ain't life funny sometimes?
